WEDNESDAY, April 18, 2001 - Bout-du-Monde, Geneva
=================================================
* HARE will be Paul "TightArse" Everett ( pseverett@yahoo.co.uk )
* MEET at 18:45 for 19:00 sharp circle at the car park at Bout-du-Monde
sports stadium
* ON-ON Boccolinos in Carouge where 3 course meals are less than CHF 20
and pizzas start at CHF 13 - wine extra but some douze/douze will
be
smuggled in to keep down costs
Note from the hare: Bout du Monde is where the 4th of July celebrations
are held. Nearest bus stop is 'Bout-du-Monde' on the #11 bus route which
runs from Gare des Eaux-Vives to Nations. Get off the bus and cross the
road (unless you come from the other direction!).
DIRECTIONS TO THE END OF THE WORLD
If coming from town centre follow the tram lines to Moillesullaz,or rte
de
Malgnou (#6 bus, or rte de Florrisant (# 8 bus) until you reach the ring
road
which runs from Gare des Eaux Vives to Carouge (this is also the #11 bus
route) and should be signed Luasanne or Airport or Carouge. Turn right
and follow this road (which starts of as av de l'Amandolier, then chemin
de
Rieu, then av Louis Aubert, then Rte du Bout du Monde). follow the road
to the top of the hill and down the other side. At the bottom of the
hill the
car park is straight in front. Meet at the left hand end of the carpark.
If coming on the motorway from the airport, exit St Julien, follow the
road
to Annemasse and re-enter about 2 km after Collonges sur Salève by
turning left where there is a sign "Troinex (Suisse)" This is a small
sign on
the left hand side of the road. Continue straight for 3 or 4 km until
the road
bears right; turn left (in fact it is more or less straight on),
following signs to
Champel and Vessy. After 1 km a roundabou is reached. Continue straight
After 500 metres road swings to the left and descends .Continue, cross
the
river Arve and the car park is on the left.

Note from the hares: There will be some diversions following the theme
"Easter Bunny". So, if you wear long floppy ears, or carry a carrot, or
look like an egg, etc. then you will be "in". If you do not, then you may
need to do some eggsplaining!
DIRECTIONS:
FRom the centre of Geneva: head towards Onex using the Route de
Chancy. At the Salle Communal d'Onex there is a junction with traffic
lights.
Turn right, off Route de Chancy, onto the road opposite the Salle
Communale (there is a sign post indicating "Centre Sportif des
Evaux").
After less than 50m take the small road (Francois Chavaz) in front of
you
and do not follow the main road to the right. Keep going down this
road to
the end (about a kilometre) where you will find the parking area of
the park.
FRom the autoroute A1: take the Bernex exit. Head into Geneva using the
Route de Chancy. After about a kilometre you reach the centre of Onex.
On the right you will find the Salle Communal d'Onex. There is a
junction
with traffic lights. Turn left, off Route de Chancy, onto the road
opposite
the Salle Communal (there is a sign post indicating "Centre Sportif
des
Evaux"). After less than 50m take the small road (Francois Chavaz) in
front
of you and do not follow the main road to the right. Keep going down

road to the end (about a kilometre) where you will find the parking
area of
the park.
Public transport: From the centre of Geneva, take bus #2, direction
Bernex.
Get off at the stop "Onex". Turn into the road opposite the Salle
Communale (there is a sign post indicating "Centre Sportif des
