     A great afternoon run in the autumn-gold woods. We even set a 
     special dog trail because part of the wood is a "no dogs even 
     on a lead" nature reserve - but no dogs came!  The pack 
     checked out every single false trail and checkback, including 
     the CB13 down a hill to the river, so they must have been 
     enjoying themselves.  Young Edouard displayed true hash 
     instinct by leading a shortcut through the vineyards on 
     spotting a distant FRB at the top of the hill. The sun was 
     just warm enough for us to eat on Tinkerbell's terrace.
