Meet:  12.00 in front of Téléphérique Station "Medran".   
Onon/Down-Downs: Chalet La Lisière, Verbier - Tel 027-771-4166
       Food and drink will be specialities from Finland so be prepared for  
       "Koskenkorva" down-downs and cinammon rolls. Sauna Party after the  
       down-downs!!

Directions:               
  FRom Geneva, take the autoroute to Martigny via Lausanne.  Exit on  
  the second Martigny exit marked "G. St. Bernard". After the tunnel  
  (the Martigny tunnel, not the Great St. Bernard  tunnel!!), go  
  straight on at roundabout.   Turn left in Sembrancher (10k from  
  Martigny) for Verbier / Le  Chable (about 20 minutes from Martigny -  
  in all about 90 minutes  from Geneva).
  FRom Italy (just in case anyone is coming that way) take the   
  autoroute up (or down) the Aosta valley and exit at Aosta  signposted  
  G. san Bernadino and take the tunnel. Head for Martigny  and turn  
  right at Sembrancher for Verbier Parking: Best to park at Le Chable  
  telecabine station. You can  drive up to Verbier and try the Medran  
  car park but it is often  full up by 10.00 am and this is peak  
  season!! From Le chable you  can get up to Verbier either
  by PTT bus or by telecabine (tickets  available for non-skiers).
  By train, take the train to Martigny and change there for Le  Chable.  
  From Le Chable take the telecabine up to Verbier and get  off at the  
  first station which is Medran.

  There will be a walker's / tobogganer's route with a Café stop. For  
  skiers there will be a "Treasure (Beer) Hunt". Both routes should   
  finish chez Wellington for Down-downs + Onon grub (Cost Sf 10.00 + Sf   
  5.00 run fee - skiers to provide own equipment + pass). Warning for   
  walkers - there might well be deep snow and or ice - be prepared with  
  suitable footwear, gloves, hats etc. Also bring towels for the sauna -  
  swim suits are banned!! Limited accomodation available for young  
  nymphomaniac harriettes (plus a few crash spaces for those with
