I need to finalise the hotel rooms this week so any last minute bookings
will be camping.

Subject: Burgundy Bike Hash weekend 17-19 September.
BURGUNDY BIKE HASH WEEKEND 17-19 SEPTEMBER
After the blood, guts and beer of the Swiss Nash Hash, here is something
completely different. Unwind with a gentle civilised hash week end in the
home of good food and wine.
SIGN UP NOW if you want to come, because places are limited. Nothing to pay

Hash fee (max. FRF500[CHF117]) covers: Simple meal Friday evening, Light
Saturday lunch with wine tasting, Wine tasting Saturday evening, Gourmet
meal Saturday evening, Picnic Sunday lunch. Beer stops.
Hash fee does not cover accommodation or bike hire.
3 kinds of accommodation - you choose; you pay.
Bed & breakfast cost will be approximately as follows:
. Camp site: 80FF per person.
No limit on numbers as it's open only for us.
. Simple hotel: 200FF per person
4 double rooms available.
. Period Hotel: 560FF per person
12 beds available in 6 rooms.
TIMETABLE Meet Friday evening at a village bar that serves food and stays open
till 1am.
Saturday meet 10:15 at Cave cooperative de Buxy to collect hire bikes
(available at approx 90FF, but I need to know you want one). Optional wine
tasting / buying while other people are kitted out.
Hash starts 10:45, so time for people to join us from Geneva on Saturday
morning.
11:45 Beer stop in Givry.
13:00 Lunch and wine tasting in Mercurey
14:30-ish Start back
17:00 Back at buxy to return the bikes.
NOTE: approx 4 hours gentle cycling, mostly on the flat, along minor roads
and farm tracks. No big hills, honest. No need for a VTT, but road
racing bikes might find it a bit hard on the tyres.
18:30 Winetasting at the Red Tower in Buxy (free glass).
19:30 Serious eating
Sunday meet 11am for a hash, swim and picnic at Lac des Laives. Finish when
you like.

Burgundy Bike Hash 99: 24-26 September 1999, at Chassey le Camp, 5Km from
Chagny and 15Km from Beaune. Book early to be sure of a bed!
