SKI HASH 2000
7th Joint LGH3/RMBH3 ski weekend Friday 21 to Sunday 23 January, 2000
Chalet SAVOY, CHATEL, France
This chalet will be exclusively ours for the entire weekend. The ski station
of Chatel, a Haut Savoie village between altitudes of 1200 to 2200 meters, is
located 3kms from the swiss border in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski
area with its 650 kms of ski runs spreading across France and Switzerland..
FRom the exit of the Grand St.Bernard traforo follow the signs for Martigny
(40kms). Enter the autoroute in direction Montreux and exit at Monthey
(25kms).
FRom Geneva take the autoroute in direction of Lausanne. From Paris / German
swiss join this autoroute at either Lausanne or Vevey. Continue in direction of
Martigny. Pass Montreux and Aigle and exit at Monthey.
FRom Monthey follow directions for Morgins, CH (15kms) and Abondance FR. Cross
the swiss border into France. In the center of Chatel turn L at the Maison du
Tourisme to reach the Savoy chalet.
PROGRAM
Friday Check in from 5pm onwards
21 Jan 7 pm WARM-UP RUN. Meeting point Chalet Savoy.
9 pm DINNER at the chalet followed by dancing til dawn.
Saturday activities for skiers and non skiers include:
22 Jan Breakfast from 7 to 10 am and lunch as agreed.
Circle up for the BIG RUN at 4pm as directed by the hares.
DINNER, SINGING and DANCING from 8pm on.
Sunday
23 Jan Breakfast from 7 to 10 am and lunch as agreed.
Circle up for the LIVE HARE RUN at 11am from the chalet.
All accommodation, meals and dancing will be at the chalet which is 200 meters
FRom the ski lifts. Cars can be garaged in the underground car park, 100
meters from the chalet (just opposite the Office du tourisme).
All rooms have toilets and shower. Bring your own towels. Bedding,
including sheets, will be provided. Families, couples and friends wishing to
share accommodations are requested to specify requirements on their booking
form.
The all-inclusive registration charge covers two nights accommodation, all
meals (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners) including drinks, three runs,
hash garment and two days underground parking fees.
COST
Because the chalet must be paid by 28 December discounted rates are offered
for payments by this date. CHF 175 paid to La Poste, LGH3 12-18173-5, Geneve
by 28 Dec 1999 or CHF 200 cash at the chalet FRF 700 cash or check payable to
Margaret MacPherson by 28 Dec 1999 or FRF 800 cash at the chalet ITL 200,000
cash or check payable to Margaret MacPherson by 28 Dec 1999 or ITL 240,000
cash at the chalet Other currencies at current exchange rates. No charge for
children five and under. No animals allowed in the chalet. ATTENTION ! All
checks must be made to: Margaret MacPherson, not to LGH3. Prepaid
registrations are transferable. Thank you.
BOOKING FORM
Guarantee accommodation by returning to Iron Lady before Saturday, 15
January 2000. Bookings received after this date cannot be guaranteed.
