From: Ever Ready < Lars.Eklund@cern.ch > Date: Thu 19 Oct 2000 14:43:00 +0200 Subject: Escalade 2000 FIRST PART ******************************************************************* Join the Geneva hashers and run in Geneva's annual Escalade fun road race round the Old Town. As for the last four years, we will run as a group in "La Marmite", the open category fun-run which closes the day. And of course there will be a "beer stop". Individual hashers can also run earlier in the day in their respective age/sex/ability group without having to register separately. You will be clocked only once for each registration. Organized by the Stade Geneve et Ville de Geneve the course of this annual event is round the Old Town. Our group is generally around 40 hashers, and you are invited to join in the fun again this year. Each participant receives a souvenir from the course organizers. The advantage of registering with the hash is that all of the start numbers can be picked up by a single person. After the run there will be the usual circle in Parc du Bastions - then we will all go off to Boccalino's in Carouge for a well-earned meal. * To register with the LGH3 group please - deposit CHF 25 on or before Friday, 27-October in the LGH3 swiss PTT account # 17-289458-6 (L'association Léman LGH3). Write your name and date of birth on each of the three parts of the deposit form and keep your receipt. Please add "ELITE" if you wish to register for this category, and "dinner" if you'll be joining us for dinner. - or give CHF 25 to Snow Bunny before Friday, 2-November. Snow Bunny only runs on Monday, so if you run on Wednesday please give to someone who is likely to see her. * For further information or to book a place for dinner please contact Susan Aspinall ( susan.aspinall@wto.org ).
