Monday, 12 March 2001 at 19:00, Bout-du-Monde (S)
*************************************************
* HARE: Tight Arse "Paul Everett"
* MEET: At 19:00 on the Bout-du-Monde car park
* Mulled Wine stop
* ONInn: Nearby
BRING A TORCH or RISK A SWIM
Directions:
FRom Geneva is to Champel and once there - yes, you guessed
it, you'll be at the top of the world. At the Bout-du-Monde signpost
the
road swings L . The car park is at the bottom of the hill, straight
across the intersection.
Public Transport:
FRom Place des Nations take bus # 11 dep. 18:28
FRom Cornavin take take bus # 13 dep. 18:38 and at Carouge, Place du
Marché change to bus # 11 dep. 18:58 and arr. 19:04.
In order to make the run easy for everybody TA set
the run last night in the dark without a torch. He
strongly recommends that everybody brings a torch.
The trail is on roads or paths all the way but with
the recent and continuing rain a torch would make it
easier. Plus on one section the authorities have
planted a metal bar in the middle of the path just
at knee height. There is only 4 litres of vin chaud
at the beer stop - so those who are late will have
the dregs. If anyone is not sure of how to get to
the end of the world, he should call TA on 8394219
or email peverett@alliedtrade.ch

In order to organise a mulled wine stop on the Monday
hash 12.3.01 at Bout de Monde Tightass is in need of
three or four large flasks to be collected on the
previous Wednesday hash on 7th March and returned on
Monday 12th containing any remaining mulled wine or
empty on Wednesday 14th. The more flasks the more
wine.
Alternatively they can be dropped off in Champel
during working hours.
