 Monday 6 August 2001 19:00 Genthod, CH  "The Observatory Run"

 * Hare will be Kaptain Kardiak
 * Meet to circle shortly after 7pm on the parking of the Observatory 
 * OnInn will be in Genthod-chez KK-probably barbeque in the garden
 
 By car from Geneva
   Take either the Lac route to Versoix or the autoroute and exit at 
   Versoix. Find the roundabout near "Ecogia" at the back of Versoix. It 
   lies at the crossroads of the road from Collex to Mies and from 
   Versox to Sauverney. It's quite near the College de Leman - just a 
   little nearer the Jura.
      
   Take the long straight road through the forest towards Sauverney. 
   You'll pass under the motorway and notice the dog track on your left. 
   About a mile further on you will see the signpost to "l'Observatoire" 
   pointing to the right. Go in and park near the Observatory building.
 
 Public transport is not possible all the way there.  However, KK will 
 be waiting with a vehicle at Genthod-Bellevue Station at exactly 19.00. 
 The 18.54 train from platform 1, Geneva Cornavin arrives at 7pm.
 We will then go immediately to the Observatory in time to circle.
 
 Any car drivers unable to follow KK's exceedingly simple 
 instructions above are also invited to be at Genthod-Bellevue at 19.00 
 to be shown the way to the Observatory (but that will entail an 
 obligatory down-down for navigational incompetence!).
