Subject: LGH3 Trail Flash - October 2001 

 Sunday 21 Oct 2001 2pm Challex (F); "New Wine in Old Hashers"

   On-on: New wine & chestnuts at Challex Vineyard followed by 
          real food at Chez Budd in Pougny.
      
  Meet 2pm at the sports ground on top of the hill at Challex.
      
  The trail will explore the vines and woods round Challex. The FRBs will 
  get plenty of opportunity to exert themselves, and there will also be a 
  special walkers & family trail suitable for children and rotund hashers.
      
  The weather will of course be wonderful.
      
  Directions:
   FRom the St.Genis roundabout, take the main road (D985) towards 
   Bellegarde. Pass the Val Thoiry shopping centre and go through 
   St.Jean de Gonville. After St.Jean turn left signposted Challex 
   halfway up the hill. As you approach Challex, look for the 
   floodlights on the hilltop. Turn L up the hill and head straight 
   for the lights. Park.
 
   Public transport won't work for Challex. If you have no car, 
   contact another hasher for a lift.
