From: PooBare < serena@hugo.net > Date: Tue 27 Nov 2001 08:54:38 +0100 (CET) Subject: Escalade "Marmite" theme and onon The Marmite run is meant to be in fancy dress, for our entertainment and the entertainment of thousands of spectators. Also, fancy dress helps us to recognize each other, and to keep more or less together so we don't miss the beer stop. As a minimum, please come in hash gear (which is already moderately amusing to most people). Colourful wigs, beards or similar would not go amiss. In addition, bring something you can wave (example: a hash t-shirt on a long stick) or wear (example: sandwich boards or a cloak in the shape of a "hash foot"). Suitable slogans to write on your "something" include: - "On-On" - "Run for fun" - "No rules" - "www.hugo.net/~hhh" - "Hash in Geneva" Feel free to do your own thing, if you don't like these suggestions, but do something! Don't forget: we meet at 17:30 on Saturday 1 Dec outside MacDonald's in the Rondpoint de Plainpalais (tram 12 or 13). If you are late and find we have gone, come up to the Parc des Bastions, and try to find us during the Marmite run - at the beer stop if not before. AFTER THE MARMITE -- ARE YOU COMING ? There will be a circle after the Marmite, at the corner of Parc des Bastions nearest to the Rondpoint de Plainpalais, around 18:45. FRom there we will go straight to Boccalinos, arriving between 19:30 and 20:00, for our on-on. Bring your singing voice. Please e-mail Deep Throat ( joseph.norman@which.net ) as soon as possible if you plan to join us. Alternatively, phone DT on +33 6 0840 6330, or +33 4 5040 1633 and leave a message.
