re: Last flyer ... for Red Fox read Old Fox and if you just want to eat let
someone know to book you a seat before we start running. Eating around 9:15pm.

Conceptional Hash, Lago D'Orta
DON'T MISS THIS HASH!!!
Apart from the special meaning that Lago D'Orta has for Milan Hashers, this is
one of the most spectacular locations we have ever chosen. The town and the
lake, with its Island monastery, are truly beautiful, and the trail contains a
special twist that will make it different to any other you have run. Hares
Bwana and Rough Knight are staying in the Hotel La Bussola on Friday and
Saturday nights. Rooms cost Lit 150,000 for a double. There are also other
(sometimes cheaper) hotels in Orta, and Bwana has numbers if anyone else is
interested in staying.
Conception
Milan H3 was conceived at Lago D'Orta on a balmy spring day way back in 1990,
(before the merger with Bordighera!). Participants in the act of conception
were, Bwana, No Grappa, Posh Marvi, (Stiggy, lately of Kilimanjaro H3) and
last, but not least, Hash Ghost John Murphy, Editor of "The Informer".. It
was a poignant moment, and Bwana and No Grappa will re-enact the conception
on Saturday in the circle (together the Ghost , if he chooses to make a rare
appearance).
For those who want to know all the lurid details from the past, copies of the
official Hash History will also be distributed.
Directions
Take the Varese autostrada and then follow the divide towards Gravelona.
Exit at Arona or Stresa, and then use a map to find the lakeside town of
Orta. (give yourself another half hour from the autostrada exit) Before you
enter the town at the first car. Before you enter the town there are yellow
bollards on the right of the road and then the road divides to take you into
a carpark on the right. Park here, (it will cost you Lit 1000). the hash
starts at 4.30 pm SHARP from the carpark , in front of the hotel La Bussola.

We will eat at La Piazzetta bar/trat in the central square on the lake shore
we have our own room, and dinner will cost Lit 25,000 including wine.
Run Fee
Lit 5000 as usual even though this time it includes more than usual. H$ will
subsidise!
