     [mine's a pint and it's Gillespies! ... if you're offering. If your not,
     mine's still a pint and it's still Gillespies and I'm buying]. All going
     well, we will eat after at the Chinese restaurant near Porta Volta (Via
     Farini, 4) called Della Fortuna, Tel 02-6595520.

31 Dec '99 1800-0001 free party in Princes Street, Edinburgh (350,000+
     expected), top bands, fresh air, fireworks and good company. BoB (bring
     own booze). After :-

1 Jan'99 at 11am from the top of Calton Hill, Princes Street (East end)
     Edinburgh, New Years Day Run, Hare Charlie "The Brewer" Tuck, afterwards
     to drink 25 gallons (125 litres) of his home brew. Tasters note: 80/- was
     best award 1998 but the Titanic Ale goes down well too.

#813 Monday 11 Jan'99 Lucky 7 Club, Via Pasinetti (off Ripamonte) meeting 7:30
     for a run round the block. E-mail by return if you are coming after so we
     get a table big enough.

#815 Rabbie McKey Burns Hash 3 (RMBH3) weekend 23/24 Jan'99 in the latter
     stages of planning, provisionally in / near Venegono Superiore (VA) and
     following the 200 year old Scothash tradition of trying to catch the live
     haggis.

Bloomin' 'eck reports that he has 3 pheasants plucked [I cannot believe the
2 that were donated by the hunters last weekend have had time to copulate
and procreate!] and in the freezer ready for cooking and consumation in 1999.
