#838 Gorla Minore/Forests & Fontanili di Valle Olona -
     Saturday 29th May 5 pm
     Hares: S+M, Bloomin' 'eck & ????

Meet at car park of Collegio Rotondi, Gorla Minore. Prompt start necessary
if you want to see where you're going. The blind will lead the blind, the
rest of you must find the flour.

From Milan take motorway Milano-Laghi following A8 towards Varese, exit
Castellanza. When you come off the motorway you turn RIGHT towards
Castellanza and RIGHT at the 3rd lights (if coming from Varese it's the 2nd
lights, the first being your slip road off the motorway). Go straight
across 2 small roundabouts then RIGHT at the STOP with flashing lights
  (Strada Provinciale 19).
Cross the level crossing and go STRAIGHT ACROSS 3 sets of lights. The last
is a large junction & Gorla Min. is signed to the left but you don't turn
there. You take the 3rd LEFT after those lights. It's called via Manzoni &
  is signed Centro.
Straight down to the bottom. Over the lights and 100m ahead is Collegio
Rotondi, a dead end, with the car park to the left.
If you get lost at any point, head for Gorla Minore. Collegio Rotondi is
sign posted, so you can't miss it (famous last words).

If required, transport can be provided from Rescaldina station (Ferrovie
Nord). Train leaves Milan Cadorna at 15.41, bound for Novara. Arrives
  Rescaldina 16.08.

  Run fee 5,000.
Eating afterwards at Pizzeria-Ristorante San Lorenzo, Via Manzoni, Gorla
Minore tel: 0331-602545. Have promised us: two primi, two secondi &
contorno, plus wine, water & coffee for 27,000.

Booking appreciated by lunchtime Thursday if possible - in the form of
definite, probable or possible - should give us an idea of the numbers.
  to S+M on 0331 604942 or e-mail suboyle@enjoy.it
