Although it's not even spring here, I want to remind you of our Assen
Summer Start (ASS) weekend, April 26-28. Details: (form included)

This is NOT the 9th Dutch Nash Hash! It's our 1st Assen Summer Start Weekend.
It is however our 5th in HELLENDOORN !! And boy, are you welcome. If you've
never experienced this event, it's about time you come find out what the f**k
it is we do over there!!! We stay at "De Kemperhof", that has 100 beds and
room to put tents and caravans.
You don't wanna start summer without something to talk about, do you ? Because
this is the 5th Hellendoorn Hash Happening, there will be something special,
and also prices are the same as last year !!!
*COST
-The ASS whole weekend (all-in-package-deal) ......................Dfl. 150/=
-Short ASS weekend arrangement (from Saturday noon) ........ Dfl. 130/=
-Strange ASS weekend arrangement (Friday/Saturday) .......... Dfl. 110/=
-Saturday all day (noon to late)
............................................ Dfl. 90/=
-Saturday Run only (from 2 to 5 p.m.)
.................................. Dfl. 40/=
-Sunday only (from 11 p.m.)
................................................. Dfl. 50/=
Fee includes all food, drinks on Saturday and Sunday (drinks Friday night for
1dfl only ), T-shirt, poffertjes, party and overnight stay. Again a perfect
all-in deal! "Saturday Run" includes run, on-on, poffertjes and T-shirt.
"Sunday only" visitors can not be guaranteed a T-shirt.
Amounts are for adults and children from 13 up. Toddlers under 5 are free and
Horrors from 5 to 12 pay half the price.
*AGENDA
-Friday April 26:
18:00 arrival of hashers/bunk down;
20:00 soup & sandwiches;
24:00 midnight run to warm up/cool down.
-Saturday April 27
attack breakfast;
time to do something for yourself (go sight-seeing);
13:00 register for the runs (Bulls, Chickens or Horrors);
14:00 Start of 1th ASS Hash;
16:00 when (and if) we're back: 'POFFERTJES';
down-downs, sing-song, hash-trash-market and other hash business;
20:00 a splendid buffet, more drinks;
21:00 and party! music and maybe some acts?
-Sunday April 28:
for those still alive there's breakfast;
12:00 start crawling on the Hangover Run;
14:00 more celebrations and a Barbecue;
farewell drinks, and pack up to go home.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SLEEPING BAG AND PILLOW CASE. Sheets can be let at dfl.
6 per set (limited no. available). The village has (small) hotels and a camping
with bungalows and caravans to let (info attached). No discount, however, for
staying "outside". Dogs are not allowed on the premises, but there's a very
good kennel within walking distance.
*HASH TRASH MARKET
Bring along all your rubbish and try selling it; make hash-cash happy.
*REGISTRATION
Copy info to all your hashers, and return forms BEFORE APRIL 13 THIS YEAR.
Payments:
Because of unreasonable bank charges on foreign payments, please send
EUROCHEQUES with a maximum amount of dfl. 300 written on them. Payments from
within the Netherlands to AHHH account: 95.80.86.621 or by Eurocheque, Dutch
Bank cheque or giro cheque. (If you have to send cash then pleeeez do it
registered or properly wrapped!)

Coming from the
North: A28 - Hoogeveen / N48 - Ommen / N347 - Hellendoorn
West : A1 - Rijssen / N347 - Hellendoorn
South: A50 - Apeldoorn / A1 - Rijssen / N347 - Hellendoorn
East : E30 - Hengelo / A1 - Rijssen / N347 - Hellendoorn
From the north you reach Hellendoorn first, follow directions for
Nijverdal until you spot the HHH-signs -pointing left- (you've nearly left the
village then). From the other directions you go through Nijverdal first and
soon after driving into Hellendoorn, you'll see the HHH-signs - pointing
right-.
If you come by train, give a ring from Nijverdal-station and we'll send someone
to pick you up. Nijverdal is on the line between Zwolle and Almelo.
