PARTY! PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!
==============================
WHO: The Swiss Franc (CHF) Hash House Harriettes invite you
and your family to join us for .......
WHAT: Our 25th run!!!
WHEN: Saturday, June 21st, 1:11 pm (as per our tradition)
WHERE: Starting from the Marine House in Genthod
WHY: Hashers don't need an excuse to party but our 25th run
is as good as any!
HOW MUCH: 20 CHF for adults (18 and over)
10 CHF for children over 12
children under 12 free (there will be a children's trail)
Includes run fee, t-shirt, barbecue, beer (as long as
it holds out) and an afternoon of sports.
The marines are graciously hosting us on their beautiful compound
in Genthod. Available for you and your family's pleasure after the
run are a volleyball court, basketball court, softball diamond and
a large playing field for rugby, soccer, frisbee or whatever. So
be sure to bring your favorite sports gear: baseball gloves, balls
(basket or softball), etc.
Once the hash stash of beer runs out, the marines have a beautiful
bar with many varieties of American drinks on offer and at reasonable
prices.
* If possible, please let us know in advance that you are coming, and
how many people are in your party so that we can estimate the amount of
food and drink to buy. See below for Mismanagement contacts. *
HOW TO GET THERE:
Maps are available on request.
FRom Geneva: Take the Route du Lac from town and turn left at Hotel
la Reserve. Turn right onto chemin des Tuileries and bear left following
chemin des Tuileries. You will come to a t-intersection. Turn right.
Pass the "V" line bustop. Across from a large greenhouse on the right is
a street to your left called chemin William Rappard. Turn onto it and go
about one block until you come to the first house on your left . This is
the marine house. It has a small cottage out in front and a parking lot
inside the compound. Do not park here or we won't be able to use the
b-ball court. Roads are extremely narrow so treat as one-way system. Car
pool if you can. Park only on chemin des Grand-Bonnets or on chemin
William Rappard. Do not park on lower part of ch. Wm Rappard (before
marine house) or you will block the road.
FRom Petit Sacconex part of town:
Take route de Colovrex and straight through the Hertz roundabout near the
Geneva Squash Club. Go past end of airport runway. At the big curve in
the road, instead of going around the curve to the left, go straight. Go
straight under the autoroute and past bustop for the "V" line, follow
above directions from here.
FRom France: Leave France via douane Vireloup. Turn right onto route de
Colovrex. At the sharp turn in the road to the right, you will turn left
onto route de Valayran. (Also signposted Genthod.) Go straight on under
autoroute and past bustop for the "V" line. Follow above directions from
here.

CHFH3 25th Run
Saturday, 21 June 1997 at 1:11 PM
New: "Buvette de Celigny", Crans-sur-Celigny
_____________________________________________
Directions:
From Geneva Cornavin Station take the "Rue de Lausanne". IGNORE the
highway direction Lausanne which is veering off to your right. Keep left,
and continue going straight on "Route Suisse" along the lake. Pass
Bellevue, Coppet, Versoix. Leave the signpost to Celigny behind you.
Soon you will get to an AGIP garage, situated to your left. Turn left
into the parking lot right next to the garage. The Buvette is across the
street at the lake. Total driving time is about 20-25 minutes.
The Buvette de Celigny is about a 30 minutes walk, 7 min drive from Nyon
Train Station.
Lifts (or rides) can be provided (contact mis-management in advance) from
Geneva's Cornavin Station, or Nyon Station.
Unfortunately, with the Marine House not being available, we lose the
wonderful facilities for softball, volleyball etc. However, there is an
large probability that someone will be thrown in the lake. For preventive
reasons, bring your SWIMSUIT, a towel and that body oil, so they can't
grab you...
