The 3rd Get Pissed in Piestany Weekend AKA 2nd Annual BSHHH  Memorial Weekend

The Bratislava Hash invites to you join us for a weekend of Hashing 
and drinking in Slovakia's most famous SPA town, Piestany.  A three 
year tradition of which includes Hashing, Beer Drinking and even 
better live music and dancing, and if you so choose, Diego's.

The Schedule:
  Friday, May 14:
  * Arrival and registration in Piestany 19:00 - 21:00.  We will start at the Irish Pub.
  * Piestany Pub crawl 21:00 - till we drop

  Saturday, May 15:
  * Get Pissed Hash, with Beer stops and down downs 13:30
  * Dinner and Live music (one of the best Blues singers in Slovakia) 20:00 

  Sunday, May 16:
  * Recovery Hash 11:00

Registration and Reservations:
  Fill out the form below and email it to mstaples@psg.sk or fax it to
  421-7-7727671.  For our planning purposes we need you to register 
  as soon as possible.  You can send a check or pay when you arrive.

Price and Payment
  If registration form is received on or before April 15 the price 
  will be 35 USD.  If you register after April 15 the price will be 
  45 USD.

This price includes the first few beers on Friday night, plus after 
hash snacks, dinner and live music on Saturday night.

Pay in any western currency by a check made out to Martin Staples 
or in cash upon your arrival in Piestany

Accommodation:
  Regrettably we have no crash space available, but there are many 
  inexpensive hotels in Piestany.  You can check out the web site of 
  Piestany Hotels it contains some prices

  My personal recommendation is the Pension Ville Veres if you want to 
  be close to the action or Hotel Slnava if you want to be close to 
  a sauna.

Getting there
For those traveling by car:
Piestany is about a 45 minute drive north of Bratislava.  From 
Bratislava follow the signs in the direction of Zilina or Trencin 
through the city. This will take you too highway D61.  Follow the 
highway to the first Piestany exit.

On Friday night come to the Irish Pub.  From the highway exit 
continue to toward the town.  You will go through one traffic light 
and one traffic light at a cross walk this is normally flashing.  
Just before you start to go up a rise for the bridge to cross the 
river take a left at a flashing yellow traffic light (Nitrianska 
Street).  On your left will be a large parking lot.  You can park 
here and walk to the Irish Pub.

For those coming by train:
You will need to get to the Bratislava train station.  Below are 
links too train schedules for Bratislava from Vienna, Prague and 
Budapest.

Once in Bratislava at the main train station (Hlavna Stanica) take 
a train to Piestany.  These trains leave at the following times:

The Irish Pub is a little hard to find because there is no sign on 
the street.  It is located on Teplicka Ulica (Street).  If you are 
at the city center or the parking lot where I suggested you park 
find Teplicka Ulica which ends at Namestie Slobody.  Walk away from 
the city center along Teplicka on the left side of the street.  You 
will see a few alleys (not streets) opening up on the left hand 
side.  One of these opens up into a court yard.  If you look inside 
you will see some old buildings about 20 meters from the street.  
Walk in and look at the building on the left.  If you find a door 
with a beer sign over it, Congratulations!! You have just
found the Irish pub.  Come on in and join us.
