Friday 18th Registration
& Pub Crawl round some of the more interesting bits of Budapest!!
Saturday 19th *** 500th Run in
the hills/woods/ other beautiful bits of Visegrad ****
(25km
north of Budapest)
- Beach party / BBQ
followed by "Pub Crawl part II - the sequel!"
- Overnight in
Szentendre (16km north of Budapest)
Sunday
20th Hangover run
- Back
to Budapest by boat (hope it's not too rough!)
- (Evening Fireworks
spectacular - optional extra!)

August 20th
is the Hungarian National Day, and this year celebrates their
1,000th anniversary!!! Half the City makes it's way down to the
Danube to watch a spectacular Fireworks
display which lasts for a full 30 minutes. Last year we were
also
entertained beforehand by parachutists who dropped into the Danube
(very
brave!). The Hash has booked the best located restaurant in the
City for
this event (from 15.00 - 23.00), which is right on the river bank,
with it's
own private terrace looking directly across the river to where the
action
is! The all inclusive price is 12,000 HUF (about $47)
which includes a hot
and cold buffet, plus all the beer, wine and soft drinks you
can
drink!!!!!!!!
