#762 Sunday 15 February '98 an "in-town" hash, starting at 12 noon from the
usual Bosco in Citta (MI) car park we have used on a Monday night. Eating
afterwards in the trattoria La Brace across the road at Via Novara, 383.
It is under the new management of two Canadians Bill and Rose. The meal
(antipasta, pasta, main course, wine water and caffe coretto) to cost Lit
25,000 and the run Fee is Lit. 5,000. Children only to pay for what they
consume.
Directions :
We meet in the (usual) car-park at one of the entrances to Parco Bosco in
Citta on Via Novara. Going out of Milano along Via Novara having just passed
Hotel Brun (on your left) you go under a bridge, pass a petrol station (on
your right) and after about 1 km pass a large car park (at pedestrian
lights). Continue another 1 km to traffic lights (the trattoria, a petrol
station and a garden centre are on the other side of the carriageway) and
turn right into the car park. If you are late the first flour will be by the
two telephone boxes.
The park is great for hashing as monday nighters will know, with no hills and
plenty short-cuts for wanabee and late hashers and the restaurant is going to
give us a good deal.
This has been set up quite late (just 5 minutes ago) and as they close all
day Saturday we would like to tell them by tomorrow what the numbers are so they
have enough food in. I finish work at 2pm on a Friday and only have e-mail
access there. I'll be home from 4pm. If you decide on Saturday to come, please
contact us so we can forwarn Bill & Rose before we set the run on the Sunday
morning.
