you might be thinking you have already read the flyer for #777 ... well you
are not far wrong. It seems some hashers cannot cope with info coming out
sooner than the day before the hash with everyone urgently prompted to book
ASAP. So much so they (TN & FP) are on record appologising for not being able
to come to #777 as they have other commitments on the 16 May'98!!! Well
that's fine 'cos #777 is still on Saturday 23 May'98.
..................................................................

Here it is again with normal timing :-

#777 Saturday 23 May'98 at 5pm from "Il Chiosco" tel 0341-579245, on Lago
Annone (the posh Scoattish way of pronoonseeng On-On) at Bagnolo (fraz. di
     Oggiono) near lecco.
Hares: Maria "Hairy Mary" McCarthy, Bwana, Liana, Vernie
Price Lit 25,000. Affettato misto, pasta al sugo, fritto misto, wine, water.

There are new owners so IT IS IMPORTANT that we have bookings. The owners
are rather suspicious as they have never met me and they want me to call
them giving numbers during the week. I told them about 25 but I'm sure
they can take more. On On Bwana

These instructions were taken from Bwana's flyer of Milan #121 :- Turn
left into Oggiono from the Lesmo- casatenovo - Lecco road. at a small
piazza turn right out og ton towards the lake. immediately after the
railway level crossing turn sharp left and the car park is on the left
after about 500 metres opposite the restaurant which is on the lake.

Rough Knight's Milan #202 flyer said "Take the SS for Lecco from Viale
zara / Fulvio Testi. Exit at Cesana / Oggiono. At the junction turn right
and follow straight (passing a church on right) following signs for
"Centro". Follow road when it veers left (ie don't go straight into
junction). Go straight over first roundabout still following Centro signs.
Turn left at first set of lights then go straight through next set and
before third set turn left at sign "Domus Nova" into Via Montello. Go
straight through Piazza Garibaldi into Via Dante Alighieri, down hill,
over railway crossing. Exit this road with a sharp left turn at the sign
"Sentiero del Lago" and continue down until the car park on the left.

Some hashers got lost on both occasions, that's how good the hares were at
laying false trails. I just remember to go round the lake anti-clockwise
once out of the town and cut off left and back-track down until wellie
tossing distance from the waatt-herr. Tonedeaf
