Robert MacKey Burns H3 (rmbH3) WEEKEND JAN 23-24

In case you don't know in Scotland we have a big party to celebrate the
birthday of our national poet, Rabbie Burns, famous not only for "Auld Lang
Syne" but also for being able to satisfy more than one women at a time.
This year we have decided to celebrate him in true hash style with a two day
PARTY . Herewith you'll find the itinerary - I need your bookings by Tues
19 either via E-mail ( caledoni@wsn.it or return this mail and I'll
forward), fax (024819470) or leave me a message on my machine (0233000175).
Sorry the deadline is a b it early but Vernie is bringing in the Haggis,
neeps and MALT WHISKY (real stuff!) from Scotland on Thursday so we need
numbers. Later bookings MAY be possible but no guarantees. Please state
exactly what you're booking for and for how many people.

#816 Sat 23 Jan 1999 3pm Meet car park of the Azienda Agricola Cereda
Florindo e Giudita at Castiglione Olona for our first RMBH Burns annual
hash. Hares Bwana and Rough Knight.

6pm Vernie (Scottish Sausage) and cooking committee meet in the Agriturismo
kitchen to get the grub ready (any volunteers?)

7.30pm meet at the restaurant. Dress is as smart as you want. Those with
kilts will be wearing them (Mr Burns deserves special Hash respect.) If you
want to dress up please do .... if you don't .... then don't but make sure
you come ... we'd rather you were there than not. There will be plenty time
after the hash to shower and change.

Vegetable soup will be served as a starter and at 8.15pm the Haggis will be
piped in and addressed by Fiona Hunter - yes I know it should be a man but I
think Mr Burns deserves a bit of personal thanks from the female species.
Volunteer needed to provide bagpipe music or possibly play (preferably well).

Haggis, neeps and tatties will be followed by sweet, coffee and malt whisky
and of course there'll be plenty of wine during the meal.

Cost of meal is thirty thousand Lire plus five for each run fee.

For those who want to stay the night we've booked some rooms at the albergo
Monte Rosso in Venegono at a cost of Lire 40.00 a head, two sharing.

the bottom of a hill. Turn right towards Castiglione Olona. After about
another kilometre you will see factory buildings on your left. Turn right up
a steep hill towards the Ristorante Agriturismo Cereda. The Road winds up
the hill. At the top turn sharp left and park.
