Subject: Hash #968 sat 23rd June

Hi folks,

as we did not manage to get a volunteer for sat the hash will be from Armeno, near Lago D'Orta.

Hare:-- Scottish Sausage
Time:-- 5.30p.m.
Cost:-- L8000 ( run fee ) + meal cost ( either BBQ or in local trat --- depends on numbers )
Place:-- 21 via Stresa , Armeno

Directions are as follows:-
FRom Milan take A8 Milano Laghi direction Varese/Gravellona T. At Gallarate
road forks off to the left forGenova, Gravelloana T and Arona. After
Casteletto T road forks off again for Gravellona T and Arona. Exit at Arona
and after pay toll left at T Junction, sign posted Borgomanero and Gozzano,
turn right one k later (after new ERG garage ) and follow signs for INVORIO
(There's a garden centre on yr left at this juncion). Go up the hill past
the villages of Talonna and Mescia and turn left just before INVORIO centre
(4km).(Signs for Gozzano + Orta) Go over two sleeping policeman (church on
hill on yr right) and turn left at T junction (1 km) - signs for Gozzano and
Borgomanero- Go straight for 1.5 km through the village of Orio then turn
right after a few bends going downhill, following signs for Bolzano N and
Armeno. Cross over the river Agogna, go up hill past cemetry and keep going
until you come to a STOP sign. Turn right – sign posted AMENO – go through
Lortallo and Miasino following signs for ARMENO. After 5 km at the T
Junction turn right then immediately right again following for STRESA and
ARMENO. DO NOT GO INTO THE CENTRE OF ARMENO – follow signs for SOVAZZA and
STRESA. After 4 KM turn left intoVia Stresa, sign posted for the Golden Star
and ACI garage/Patera Motors/Fiat Garage. Our house is on the  left hand
side just before the turn for the Golden star.

As most of the runners are away at various other hashes this will probably
be a walking trail !
