#766 Sunday 15 March'98 at 12:00. La Fiametta (or Fametta) tel 02-9955671,
Garbagnate Milanese, Parco delle Groane. Run Fee lit. 5,000. Hare Paint
Stripper. La F(ia)metta, about 10 kms from Milan, is a pizzeria beside an
artificial lake teeming with sluggish trout. Come early and bring your
fishing rod if you need a little pre-hash adrenoline rush. If you are
coming from Milan the easiest way is to take the autostrada Como/Laghi and
exit at Arese (autostrada dei laghi). (1st toll booth when you are coming
from Milan) Turn left, pass the traffic light, follow the road past the
Alpha Romeo factory on the curve Pass a big main intersection at Santa
Maria Rossa after a couple of kms , after the exit from autostrada , at
trafic light(ESSELUNGA is on your right) continue to the roundabout where
you take the third road off - direction Garbagnate. Via Fiametta is the
first turning on your right and our little lake is at the end of this
short road on your right.
....OR....
take strada statale Varesina from Milano zona Certosa / Roserio past
Baranzate , roundabout go straight (big Centro commerciale on your left
Esselunga,Castorama e Dechatlon), continue and past Ospiate di Bollate,
Arese, ESSELUNGA is on your right at T.L turn right and continue to the
roundabout where you take the third road off - direction Garbagnate. Via
Fiametta is the first turning on your right and our little lake is at the
end of this short road on your right.
If you're coming from the north, the best thing to do is exit the
Como/Laghi motorway at Saronno, turn right and head for Milan along the
Varesina, turning left at the Essalunga at Santa Maria Rossa.

We were there on 9 Nov'97 #753. If you take an exit too soon off the
roundabout you will soon see the lake and restaurant to the right and
below, carry on a bit to the next roundabout and on coming back to
original roundabout take first exit and after 100 metres turn right and
under a bridge to enter the car park.
